How to dictate in Microsoft Word

Using Word's built-in Dictate button
Available in Microsoft 365 versions of Word (Windows, Mac, and the web). You'll need to be signed in with a Microsoft account and connected to the internet.

- 3Click Dictate and allow microphone access the first time you're asked.

- 6Click the Dictate button again to stop when you're finished.
