Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Whisper application ("App", "Service") operated by Vantar Group LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company.

By downloading, installing, or using Whisper, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Whisper is an offline speech-to-text application that provides:

  • On-device voice transcription using AI technology
  • Local storage of recordings and transcriptions
  • A keyboard extension for voice input across apps
  • Export and sharing capabilities for transcribed text

All transcription processing occurs locally on your device. Your audio and transcription data is never uploaded to our servers.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on devices you own or control
  • Use the App for personal or commercial purposes
  • Access features included in your purchased license tier

Note: Each license purchase entitles you to use Whisper on your personal devices. Team licenses are available for multi-seat deployments.

Purchases & Payments

Pricing

Whisper is available as a one-time purchase. Prices are displayed in the app store and on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect existing purchases.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not directly collect or store payment information. Payment terms are governed by the respective app store's terms of service.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. For purchases made directly through our website, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the product.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Vantar Group LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your transcriptions and audio recordings remain your property. We claim no ownership over content you create using the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of transcriptions

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. Transcription accuracy may vary based on audio quality, accents, and background noise.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTAR GROUP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Errors or inaccuracies in transcriptions
  • Any unauthorized access to your device

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vantar Group LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the App is revoked
  • You must delete all copies of the App
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
