How to switch in 10 minutes

  1. 1. Install Whisper

    Download the build for your platform and install it. macOS runs on Apple Silicon. Windows 10 and 11 and Linux on Ubuntu 22.04 and later are supported.

  2. 2. Enter your license key

    Paste the key on first launch. A team uses one shared key, and you add or remove devices at /account. There is no admin console to set up first.

  3. 3. Set your shortcut

    Pick the key you hold to dictate. Use the same one you used in Wispr Flow and your hands will not notice the change.

  4. 4. Move your custom words

    Copy the vocabulary list out of Wispr Flow, names, product terms and acronyms, and paste it into the custom words list in Whisper. This is the step people skip, and it is the reason a new app feels worse on day one.
